WELCOME ON BOARD!

Astrid af Vålax

A wooden galleass, m/aux Astrid was built in 1947 in the rural district of Porvoo, Finland, for coastal freight traffic. The current owners acquired Astrid in 1969 for sail training purposes. The cargo hold was transformed into a cosy salon for lounge and lodging. Along the years, chartering has taken a key role in Astrid’s operations, but a lot of emphasis is still placed on youth sail training. Astrid was approved to Finland's National Board of Antiquities’ registry of traditional tall ships in 1994. The ship has been completely refitted and equipped with the latest technology and safety equipment.

Astrid is suited for groups of up to 60 people, with overnight lodging available for 22 people. Youth cruises can accommodate up to 30 people overnight.

Svanhild af Borgå

Svanhild was built in Grännes, Finland, in 1948 for timber freight traffic around the Baltic Sea. The current owner acquired Svanhild in 1972, the ship’s cargo hold was transformed into a recreational space, and new masts and rigging were constructed according to the ship’s original model. Renovations were continued in 2006 when Svanhild received a new keel and the ship’s technical systems and interior fixtures were renewed. Svanhild is an excellent setting for both evening gatherings as well as cruises lasting several days. The ship is equipped with seven 2-3-person cabins, accommodating up to 20 people. On day cruises Svanhild can hold up to 60 people.

Svanhild was approved to Finland's National Board of Antiquities’ registry of traditional tall ships in 1994.

Sailing Yacht Ingrid

Ingrid was built as a trawler in Denmark in 1932 and its home port was a small but busy fishing port at the east coast of Denmark.

Finnish sailing ship enthusiast found abandoned Ingrid in 1994 in very bad shape at remote port. It was love at first sight and after thousands of working hours and full renovation in years 1994-2002 Ingrid has been back in business, chartering in beautiful Finnish archipelago with our other traditional wooden sailing ships.

Ingrid is suited for small groups up to 12 people, with overnight lodging available for 8 people.
